Basketball Game Preview: Skyline Raiders vs. Seagoville Dragons + How To Watch

The Skyline Raiders will face off against the Seagoville Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Tuesday, Skyline came up short against South Oak Cliff and fell 66-55. The Raiders have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Skyline might have lost, but man, Robert Reddick was a machine: he went 10-for-19 to rack up 25 points and eight rebounds. Reddick is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 53% in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Cyrus Sykes, who posted 12 points and five boards.

Meanwhile, Seagoville didn't have too much trouble with Midlothian on Tuesday as they won 64-46.

Skyline better keep an eye on Mason Maxfield. He was instrumental in Seagoville's win, shooting 55% from the field en route to 28 points and seven rebounds. Those seven boards gave Maxfield a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Twone Long, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds.

Seagoville's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Skyline, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
