Basketball Recap: Manatee Comes Up Short

Manatee lost against Southeast back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hurricanes took a 63-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seminoles. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Manatee's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Southeast, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 2-8 record.

Looking ahead, Manatee will head out on the road to square off against Poinciana Christian Preparatory at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Southeast, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Oxbridge Academy at 3:00 p.m. on the 27th.
