Recap: Rutherford Rams vs. Bay Tornadoes
The Rutherford Rams lost against the Bay Tornadoes back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Rutherford fell just short of Bay by a score of 18-15.
Jason Havens jr. threw for 110 yards on nine of 30 attempts. Wykien Waters was his top target, picking up 100 receiving yards. On the ground, Jaicari Brown rushed for 47 yards and two touchdowns.
Bay found their leader in underclassman Zabeyon Morgan, who threw for 168 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes.
Rutherford's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Bay, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
Rutherford will be playing in front of their home fans against Bozeman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bozeman is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Bay, they will head out on the road to face off against Port St. Joe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
