Softball Recap: Thomas Jefferson's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Thomas Jefferson and Bethel Park pushed the score to 10-9 the last time they played Bethel Park, but on Monday defenses reigned supreme. The Jaguars fell just short of the Black Hawks by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Jaguars couldn't push the score so high this time.

Thomas Jefferson saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Stock, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Sophie Janosko also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Thomas Jefferson's defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-4. As for Bethel Park, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.
