Basketball Recap: Oregon-Davis' Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Oregon-Davis can bid farewell to their 25-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 44-41 victory over the Knox Redskins. For the Bobcats, this counts as revenge for the 52-33 win the Redskins walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Despite the loss, Knox still got an impressive performance from Myles Mclaughlin, who posted 17 points along with five assists and four steals. That's the most steals Mclaughlin has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kohl Jordan, who earned nine points and five boards.

Oregon-Davis' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-15. As for Knox, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Oregon-Davis will venture away from home to face off against Culver Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Oregon-Davis is facing Culver Community at the right time seeing as Culver Community is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Knox, they will be playing at home against Glenn at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
