Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dobie). Their defense stepped up to hand the Texas City Stingarees a 4-0 shutout on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Longhorns considering their one-goal performance the match before.

They hit Texas City with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Yulissa Alvarado (2), Mariah Santana, and Allison Walker.

Dobie's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-1-2. As for Texas City, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
