Volleyball Game Preview: Naples Classical Academy vs. Dunbar Tigers

The Naples Classical Academy will head out to challenge the Dunbar Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Naples Classical is coming into the contest on a 15-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Naples Classical lost 3-0 to Golden Gate on Tuesday.

While Naples Classical was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-5, 25-17.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Tuesday. Dunbar sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Clewiston.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (105-102) Dunbar actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 19-25, 17-25, 25-20, 16-14.

Naples Classical's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Dunbar, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season.
