            Football Recap: Hobgood Charter Raiders vs. Columbia Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Bear Grass Charter, Hobgood Charter was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. Everything went their way against the Columbia Wildcats as they made off with  a  38-14 victory. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive  win against them.
Hobgood Charter's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Armanti Alston, who rushed for 162 yards and a pair of  TDs while picking up 9.5 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jacob Tutor, who rushed for 122 yards and one  score on only 15 carries.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Hobgood Charter was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 495  rushing yards. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they've run for more than 200 yards.

 Hobgood Charter didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Alston led the group effort, picking up two of those  interceptions all by himself.
Hobgood Charter's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Columbia,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-5.
 Coincidentally, Hobgood Charter and Columbia will both be playing Bear Grass Charter the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will head out to face the Bears at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday, while the Raiders will head out to face them  at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 31st.
