Football Recap: Parkwood Wolf Pack vs. Piedmont Panthers

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Forest Hills, Parkwood was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Piedmont Panthers by a score of 27-17. The Wolf Pack have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Emmett Evans was a one-man wrecking crew for Parkwood as he threw for 190 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.

Despite the loss, Piedmont still got an impressive performance from Nathaniel Gagnon, who rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns.

Parkwood's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-7. As for Piedmont, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Parkwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Piedmont, they are on the road again on Friday to play East Mecklenburg at 6:00 p.m. Piedmont is facing East Mecklenburg at the right time seeing as East Mecklenburg is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
