Softball Recap: El Paso-Gridley Comes Up Short

El Paso-Gridley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 7-2 to the Deer Creek-Mackinaw Chiefs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 10-8 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

El Paso-Gridley's record is now 0-7. As for Deer Creek-Mackinaw, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. El Paso-Gridley is set to challenge their familiar foe Fieldcrest at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Deer Creek-Mackinaw will take on rival Eureka at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
