Basketball Recap: Corry Has No Trouble Against Franklin

Corry hadn't done well against Franklin recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Corry Beavers took down the Franklin Knights 69-53. For the Beavers, this counts as revenge for the 86-53 victory the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Franklin lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Alex Umbenhaur, who posted 14 points. Another player making a difference was Will Findlan, who scored 12 points.

Corry's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Franklin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.

Corry will be playing in front of their home fans against Warren at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Franklin, they will head out on the road to square off against Oil City at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
