Cypress Bay is 9-1 against West Broward since December of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Cypress Bay Lightning will square off against the West Broward Bobcats at 3:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

West Broward will be up against a hot Cypress Bay team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Cypress Bay blew past Fort Lauderdale 5-1 on Thursday. Considering the Lightning have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Fort Lauderdale with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ramiro Castillo (2), Lorenzo Abbiati, Samuel Echeverry, and Bautista Briones.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Broward). They put the hurt on Piper with a sharp 5-1 win on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Cypress Bay is also on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 36 goals over those 11 matchups. As for West Broward, their win bumped their record up to 5-9-2.

Everything went Cypress Bay's way against West Broward in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as Cypress Bay made off with a 5-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cypress Bay since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
