Basketball Recap: Stadium Tigers vs. Tahoma Bears
Stadium was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 74-13 loss at the hands of the Tahoma Bears. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 286th, while the Bears are ranked 21st).
Zo? Wilder was Stadium's leading scorer, having posted four points. Wilder also led the team in rebounds with three.
Tahoma got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Logan Girias out in front who went 6 of 7 on her way to 18 points. The dominant performance also gave Girias a new career-high in field goal percentage (86%). Bailey Nettleton was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to seven steals and six assists.
Stadium's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Tahoma, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.
