Volleyball Recap: Richard Winn Academy Takes a Loss

If Richard Winn Academy was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Anderson Christian on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Cambridge Academy Cougars on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-17, 25-13.

Richard Winn Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Cambridge Academy, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Richard Winn Academy will venture away from home to square off against Wardlaw Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cambridge Academy, they will challenge Gray Collegiate Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
