Splendora hadn't done well against Dayton recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Broncos by a score of 5-1. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 5-4 victory the Broncos walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2025.

The win made it two in a row for Splendora and bumps their season record up to 8-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Dayton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.
