Sylva Bay Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anna Poole, who scored ten points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Poole has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Reese Shumock, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Sylva Bay Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Prentiss Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Lamar Christian the next time they take the court. Sylva Bay Academy will host Lamar Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Prentiss Christian will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
