Basketball Recap: Chisholm Trail Academy's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Chisholm Trail Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Bethesda Christian Lions by a score of 59-49. That's more bragging rights for the Blazers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Chisholm Trail Academy was led to victory by Morgan Bergmann and Anaiah Henderson. Bergmann dropped a double-double with 23 points and 12 boards, while Henderson dropped a triple-double with ten points, 15 assists, and 11 steals. Henderson is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least six every time she's taken the court this season. Jenny Clifford was another key player, putting up 15 points and eight rebounds.

Chisholm Trail Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Chisholm Trail Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Bethesda Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Chisholm Trail Academy will head out to square off against Trinity Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bethesda Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Heritage Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on December 1.
