Basketball Recap: Navarro Takes a Loss

Navarro has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 49-30 bruising from the Davenport Wolves on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 326th, while the Wolves are ranked 152nd).

Navarro's loss dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Davenport, they pushed their record up to 19-6 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Navarro will welcome Canyon Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Davenport, they will host Fredericksburg at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
