Baseball Recap: Luther Comes Up Short

Luther lost against Cashion last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions came up short against the Wildcats, falling 10-4. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Luther saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shea Curtis, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Luther's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Cashion, their victory was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0.

Looking ahead, Luther will challenge Crossings Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cashion, they will venture away from home to face off against Minco at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
