Football Recap: Cameron Takes a Loss

Cameron fell victim to Chetek-Weyerhaeuser and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Bulldogs, falling 35-0. The Comets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Cameron's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Chetek-Weyerhaeuser, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Coming up, Cameron will be playing at home against Ladysmith at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Comets are facing the Lumberjacks at the right time seeing as the Lumberjacks are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Chetek-Weyerhaeuser, they will venture away from home to square off against Elmwood/Plum City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
