Ansonia came tearing into Monday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Wilby Wildcats as they made off with an 8-1 win. It was an even better day for Abdalla Hanaif as he scored three goals for his team.

Ansonia's victory bumped their record up to 9-5-1. As for Wilby, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
