Volleyball Recap: Eastbrook Academy Takes a Loss

Eastbrook Academy was the 3-1 winner over St. Anthony when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Eastbrook Academy fell just short of St. Anthony by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. Eastbrook Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Eastbrook Academy sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-15, 23-25, 25-20, 21-25, 15-11.

Eastbrook Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for St. Anthony, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Eastbrook Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hmong American Peace Academy at 6:00 p.m. on October 8. St. Anthony does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
