Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mountain View). They breezed past the Aurora Central Trojans to the tune of 61-0 on Saturday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Mountain Lions considering their seven-point performance the contest before.

Mountain View didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Olivia Guerrero, Lydia Okiyama, Sydney Gray, and Riley Darcy picked up one apiece. Gray got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Mountain View has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 28.0 points over those games. As for Aurora Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Mountain View has already played their next game, a 41-0 win against Monarch on the 15th. As for Aurora Central, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-6 victory against Aurora West College Prep Academy on the 15th.
