Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Valhalla). They skirted past the Grossmont Foothillers 3-2.

Valhalla's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-9-3. As for Grossmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valhalla will take on Monte Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Monte Vista's last six contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Grossmont, they will square off against Granite Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
