Volleyball Recap: Navasota Comes Up Short

Navasota was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the La Grange Leopards. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Leopards this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-12, 25-11.

Navasota's defeat dropped their record down to 19-17. As for La Grange, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 24-14.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Navasota is set to square off against their familiar foe Bellville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, La Grange will take on rival Giddings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
