Mylee DeLong turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than six strikeouts on Monday. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against West Liberty-Salem back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock.

DeLong's strong effort led Mechanicsburg over West Liberty-Salem and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
