Celebration is 8-2 against Liberty since November of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Celebration Storm will take on the Liberty Chargers at 5:30 p.m. Celebration is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.1 points per game this season.

Celebration is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against St. Cloud on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Celebration was outmatched by St. Cloud and fell 77-42. The Storm were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-21.

Despite their loss, Celebration saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Edson Oliveira Da Silva, who posted 15 points and five rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Braden Plaisted, who had nine points.

Liberty has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost to Gateway on the road by a 68-51 margin on Monday.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Celebration, they dropped their record down to 9-9 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Celebration came up short against Liberty in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 57-47. Can Celebration avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
