Soccer Recap: Zachary Find Success

Zachary kept a clean sheet against Destrehan on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Wildcats 1-0. Zachary's winning goal came courtesy of Trinity Spence.

Zachary has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six contests. As for Destrehan, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Zachary will venture away from home to square off against East Ascension at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Destrehan, they will head out to challenge Baton Rouge at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
