Basketball Recap: Central Decatur Piles Up the Points Against East Union

Central Decatur posted their biggest victory since January 19, 2024 on Friday. They blew past the East Union Eagles 55-19. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 58-26 back in December of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Central Decatur and bumps their season record up to 9-6. As for East Union, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.

Central Decatur wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 45-26 victory against Chariton on the 25th. As for East Union, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the East Union Eagles face off against the Wayne Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
