Softball Recap: Ysleta Indians vs. El Paso Tigers        
        
		
            
 It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Ysleta had no problem doing just that  on Saturday. They never let the El Paso Tigers onto the board and left with  a   10-0  victory. The result was nothing new for Ysleta, who have now won 27 matchups by six  runs or more  so far this season.
  Janelle Leanos made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   keeping things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Leanos has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive pitching appearances. Leanos was also solid in the batter's box,  going 3-for-3 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Danielle Lozoya, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Cienna Hernandez, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 The  win (which was Ysleta's third in a row) raised their record to 33-4-1. As for El Paso, they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 21-15.
 Ysleta will take on Abilene on Thursday. The pair have allowed few  runs on average, (Abilene: 2.5, Ysleta: 3.4) so any  runs scored will be well earned. El Paso does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
