Baseball Recap: Carson Comes Up Short

Carson lost to East Rowan on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cougars fell 5-1 to the Mustangs.

Carson's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for East Rowan, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Carson will take on rival Jay M. Robinson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, East Rowan is set to square off against their familiar foe South Rowan at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Mustangs 1.8, the Raiders 2.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
