Pawnee and Greenfield/Northwestern are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Indians will host the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pawnee is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Pawnee is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since April 20, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 7-1 to Lutheran.

Brown County typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Greenfield/Northwestern proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hornets, sneaking past 5-3.

Wyatt Stuart was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Stuart was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Garrett Costello was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Greenfield/Northwestern now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Pawnee, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9.

Pawnee skirted past Greenfield/Northwestern 8-6 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
