Soccer Recap: Clovis East Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Clovis East Timberwolves didn't have quite enough to beat the Madera South Stallions and fell 4-3. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Francisco Damas and Bryce Fernandez scored all three of Clovis East's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Clovis East's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Madera South, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-0-1.

Clovis East wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Bullard on the 10th. As for Madera South, they will venture away from home to square off against Clovis at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Madera South's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
