Baseball Recap: Kennard-Dale Beats Penn Manor for Their Third Straight Victory

Kennard-Dale entered their tilt with Penn Manor on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with an 11-7 win over the Comets.

Gio Sisti made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Sisti was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Micah Smith was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Kennard-Dale is 4-1 when Smith posts two or more runs, but 1-2 otherwise. Noah Hoffer was another key player, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.

Kennard-Dale kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Penn Manor only managed nine hits.

Kennard-Dale's record now sits at 5-3. As for Penn Manor, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kennard-Dale will challenge Eastern York at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Penn Manor, they will head out to challenge Cedar Crest at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games the Falcons have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
