After a string of four wins, Fyffe's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Ashville Bulldogs by a score of 2-1. The Red Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Fyffe's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Ashville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fyffe will head out to square off against Valley Head at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ashville, they will venture away from home to face off against West End at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
