Brownsburg has gone 8-2 against Plainfield recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Brownsburg Bulldogs will face off against the Plainfield Quakers at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Brownsburg is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They snuck past Avon with a 44-40 victory. The game was the first time the Bulldogs have beaten the Orioles on their court since January 6, 2023.

Meanwhile, Plainfield waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 72-60 win over the Warriors. Given the Quakers' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Warriors are ranked 172nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brownsburg better keep an eye on Landon Gilliatt. He was instrumental in Plainfield's win, shooting 5-for-7 from deep and almost dropping a double-double with 15 points and nine assists. Gilliatt is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Harper Baker-Lands was another key player, shooting 50% from the field to rack up 16 points.

Plainfield was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They racked up eight more assists than Danville's also-impressive total of 11.

Plainfield's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for Brownsburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-12.

Brownsburg was able to grind out a solid victory over Plainfield in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 65-53. Does Brownsburg have another victory up their sleeve, or will Plainfield turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
