On Tuesday Skylar Payne went 11 of 22 en route to 26 points along with seven assists and six boards, good enough to set a new career-high in assists in the process. As if that's not impressive enough, the game was also her sixth in a row with three or more steals. For the year, she has averaged 16.8 points, 4.2 steals, and 5.4 rebounds.

Payne and Sports Leadership & Management will take on Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Phoenix, probably because Payne had a solid game then too: she posted 21 points in addition to seven boards and five assists.
