Basketball Recap: Skidmore-Tynan Takes a Loss

Skidmore-Tynan lost against Port Aransas back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats were outmatched by the Port Aransas Marlins and fell 96-18. The game marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Skidmore-Tynan's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Port Aransas, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-8.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Pettus the next time they take the court. Port Aransas will host Pettus at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, while Skidmore-Tynan will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
