Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Spring Valley walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the South Charleston Black Eagles on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for the Timberwolves as they're now sitting on four straight.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Spring Valley was: they took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-9, 25-10.

Spring Valley found their leader in freshman Addi Kilgore, who had three digs and two aces. Anslee Smith also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Spring Valley was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive matchups.

Spring Valley's win bumped their record up to 33-12-7. As for South Charleston, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-21-2.

As of now, neither Spring Valley nor the Black Eagles have any future games scheduled.
