Hillsboro extended the longest winning streak in Central Kansas this week by beating Halstead, 35-8. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.
Hillsboro's Tyler Proffitt and Shaq Thiessen have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Proffitt has thrown for 1698 yards this season, while Thiessen, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 26 catches for 672 yards. Kingman's Zach Andersen leads the league in rushing yards with 942.
Pratt led the league in scoring this week after putting up 51 points on Larned/Pawnee Heights.
