Volleyball Recap: Carroll Takes a Loss

Carroll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Badin Rams, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on April 3rd.

While Carroll was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Badin's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 26-24.

Parker Davidson paced Carroll's offense, picking up ten kills. Davidson got some help from Ian Lougeman and his 23 assists. Kael Grothaus controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Carroll's record now sits at 4-10. As for Badin, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.

Carroll didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Roger Bacon on the 26th. As for Badin, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against La Salle on the 28th.
