Basketball Recap: Moravian Prep Regional Takes a Loss

On Monday, the Moravian Prep Regional Lions were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 64-60 to the Specially Fit Academy Rams. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Lions came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 45th in North Carolina, while the Rams are ranked 314th in Florida).

Moravian Prep Regional's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Specially Fit Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season.

Moravian Prep Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Specially Fit Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 65-61 victory against Hamilton Heights Christian Academy on the 20th.
