Basketball Recap: Kendall's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Kendall hadn't done well against Elba recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Kendall Eagles snuck past the Elba Lancers with a 50-44 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Kendall's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Elba, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kendall will welcome Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Elba, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jasper-Troupsburg at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
