Basketball Recap: Page County Takes a Loss

Page County suffered their biggest defeat since December 21, 2024 on Monday. They lost 61-41 to the Central Woodstock Falcons. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 224th, while the Falcons are ranked 79th).

Page County's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Central Woodstock, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Page County and Stonewall Jackson will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. As for Central Woodstock, they will head out on the road to face off against Rappahannock County at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Central Woodstock has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 197 points over their last three matchups.
