Edgewood's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cocoa Tigers. The win continues a trend for the Red Wolves in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won nine in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Edgewood was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-5, 25-14.

Anna Ely paced Edgewood's offense, picking up 13 kills. Ely got some help from Paige Tarango and her 19 assists. Ely also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Myrah Imami, racking up three apiece.

Edgewood's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Cocoa, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Coming up, Edgewood will take on Bayside in a tournament on Monday. As for Cocoa, they will take on Viera at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
