Basketball Recap: Laconia's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to 12

Laconia put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Sanborn Regional Indians 54-14. The Sachems have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 24 points or more this season.

Laconia's win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0. As for Sanborn Regional, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Laconia will venture away from home to face off against Derryfield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Derryfield will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Laconia surely won't give up without a fight. Sanborn Regional has already played their next match (against Pelham), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
