They were the clear victors by a 12-4 margin over the Capital Golden Eagles. Jameson Deitz made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Preston Wade looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances.
