Monona Grove's Sawyer Livesey recorded the longest rushing play in Badger - South this season in his game against Fort Atkinson last week. Livesey ran for 89 yards on the play and finished with 95 on the day as his team beat the Blackhawks.

Monona Grove was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting Fort Atkinson. Mike Stassi's team came in at 13 in the state poll after placing at number 37 last week.

The Silver Eagles' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tyler Blang threw for 133 yards and Trey Powers had 101 yards receiving. On the ground Toren Young contributed 102 yards. Brady Blang helped Monona Grove's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 32 yards.

Blang put up the best numbers in passing as Monona Grove defeated Steve Mahoney's team. Blang's favorite target this week was Powers, who caught 3 passes for 101 yards.

Monona Grove's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Silver Eagles feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Blang has thrown for 660 yards and 7 touchdowns this season, while Powers has 20 catches for 456 yards. Blang also leads the league in rushing with 587 yards.

The Silver Eagles are currently in first, while Stoughton is in fourth.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Monona Grove takes on the Vikings. The Silver Eagles have allowed 56 points this season, while Stoughton has given up 95. Monona Grove allowed 7 points last week as it bested the Blackhawks.

Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, the Silver Eagles beat Fort Atkinson 35-7. The victory was the sixth in a row for Monona Grove.
