Soccer Recap: Menlo School Wins Going Away Against Eastside College Prep

Menlo School won the last time they faced Eastside College Prep and things went their way on Friday too. The Menlo School Knights blew past the Eastside College Prep Panthers 4-0. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 247th, while the Panthers are ranked 1021st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Menlo School hit Eastside College Prep with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Blake Putanec (2), Kieran Vazquez, and Gabriel Gil.

Menlo School is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those four games. As for Eastside College Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
