Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bert Corona Charter). They enjoyed a cozy 63-47 victory over the Community Charter Titans on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on three straight.

Despite the loss, Community Charter saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Edem Ladzepko went 11 for 19 en route to 30 points along with seven boards and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ladzepko has scored all season. Ulises Borja also deserves some recognition as he pulled down his first rebounds of the season.

Bert Corona Charter's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Community Charter, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Bert Corona Charter has already played their next game (against Lakeview Charter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Community Charter will take on Triumph Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Triumph Charter is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.5 points per game this season.
